About Our Senior Pastor – Bishop Oscar Lewis
Bishop Oscar Lewis has dedicated over 20 years to ministry, serving in roles ranging from minister to Business Administrator before becoming the Senior Pastor of Faith Deliverance Church of God, a position he has held for the past six years. He is married to Diane Lewis and is the proud father of five children, as well as grandfather to five grandsons and four granddaughters.
Bishop Lewis completed the Church of God Ministerial Internship Seminary Program and was ordained as Bishop in 1995. He also serves as a Master Pastor in the Church of God Ministers Internship Program, training and mentoring new pastors. Under his leadership, Faith Deliverance Church of God has grown a variety of ministries, including:
Respite Care Ministries, providing home companions for elderly or homebound individuals
Food Ministry, distributing perishable and non-perishable items to those in need
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Bishop Lewis earned his bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University in 1975 and a master’s degree in Christian Ministry from Jacksonville Seminary College in 2005.
Bishop Lewis has over a decade of experience working with at-risk youth and co-founded the New Beginnings Community Development Center, including a weekend youth program that exposes children to diverse cultural and ethnic experiences. He is also a co-founder of Feeding Hope Village, Riviera Beach, which serves the community through spiritual guidance, crisis prevention, and programs that promote physical and spiritual health.
Bishop Lewis is passionate about empowering individuals, strengthening families, and sharing the love of God through action, service, and teaching.
