- WANT TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN?!
​God extends the incredible gift of salvation, eternal life, and the promise of heaven to everyone, completely free of charge! Have you ever wondered why? The Bible explains that we all have sinned and fall short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). The consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23a), and on our own, we cannot achieve salvation. It is through grace that we are saved, not by our own efforts, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). Our best deeds are like dirty rags (Isaiah 64:6b).
The good news is that God loves the world so much that He gave His only Son, so that anyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). God's love for us is unwavering, regardless of our actions, yet sin creates a barrier between us and Him. Even in our sinful state, God loves us deeply.
He demonstrates His love by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). God is also just, and as the judge of all, He cannot allow sin into a perfect heaven. Therefore, it is sin that must be addressed.
We are called to repent and turn to God so that our sins can be erased (Acts 3:19a). We are invited to believe in the Lord Jesus for salvation (Acts 16:31). The wonderful news is that the gift of God is eternal life (Romans 6:23b).
We are encouraged to confess our sins, and He, being faithful and just, will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Would you like to accept this gift of salvation right now? To those who welcome Him and believe in His name, He grants the power to become children of God (John 1:12).
All it takes is for you to ask Him, and He will forgive your sins and come into your life. You ca Heavenly Father,
I am grateful for your presence and for opening my eyes to my needs. I recognize my shortcomings and the wrongs I have committed in your sight. Please forgive my sins and grant me the strength to turn away from them. I now acknowledge you as my Lord and Savior.
Guide me in making you the center of my life. Lead me along your path so that I may become a devoted follower of yours. AMEN!
What steps should I take next? Share your decision with your friends and family. Join a local church for regular worship. Consider baptism as a public declaration of your faith. Look for a small group that focuses on the fundamentals of Christianity. Share your journey of new life in Christ with someone special.
